Even though Fairy Stream is free to entrance, there might be some locals asking 5000 dongs ($0.20). It is up to you if you want to pay the price but yeah, the amount is quite a small so we just paid it.
#3 White Sand Dunes with Jeep
Finally, White Sand Dunes is amongst the must things to do in Mui Ne, Vietnam. You have to find a transportation in order to get there since it is located around 30 kilometers Northeast of Mui Ne. It might be a bit too far away for a motorbike. That’s why we recommend you to book a private jeep to see the magnificent White Sand Dunes. Even though you cannot drive the jeep to the Dunes, the trip itself there is very enjoyable.
After reaching White Sand Dunes, you have a couple of options. You can walk approximately one kilometer to the sand dunes. The entrance is free so beware of the scammers. It might be rough trip depending on how sunny day and hot there is. If you travel as a couple, you can rent an ATV to drive there by yourselves. Prices range between 500 000 ($22) and one million ($44) dongs. Remember always to haggle. On the contrary, if you have a group of four people, you can rent another jeep inside the White Sand Dunes area. Prices are similar with the ATV rental.
You can spend a wonderful, sandy hour in the White Sand Dunes by taking pictures and enjoying the spectacular view that your eyes almost cannot believe. Just be careful when walking on the dunes because there are plenty of various motor vehicles riding around like maniacs.
